The design section of the review is about first impressions, aesthetics and functionality of the layout, color scheme, font sizes, header, images and other design elements. The reviewer will provide an opinion based on his experience as a web publisher, but also from the perspective of a visitor that just found a web site in question for the first time. Suggestions may be made with regards to improvements that can be made to the design of the site, which should make the review more useful to the web publisher who ordered it.

Just like with every other part of the review, there is a rating.

Focus:

This part of the review is about the ability of the site in question to convey what it is about, what can a visitor expect from it, in which ways it can be useful and so on. The reviewer tries to determine the purpose of the site being reviewed and examine how well is it being defined. If necessary, suggestions may be made with regards to how can the site's focus be better conveyed.

Content:

This is where the reviewer takes a deeper look at the content of the site, starting from the actual amount of the content available, its relevancy, usefulness, consistency, style and so on. Judgment will be made from reading a sample of the content most immediately available on the site. Content is king and so it is important that the content aspect of the site is examined and suggestions with regards to how it may be improved given.

Overall: 

In conclusion the reviewer will express an overall impression he got from the web site, making some final observations and judgments. The idea is to make every review, even negative ones, oriented towards positive progress. Conclusion will reflect that.

The final rating of the web site is an aggregate of the previous three ratings, with an addition of an overall impression, perceived potential and such variables as, for example, the brilliance of the idea behind the site, as modifiers of the final rating. The reviewer will try to be as honest as possible, but keep in mind that he still is only one person, albeit experienced and fairly knowledgeable on web site publishing. Still, other visitors may provide their own additional opinions in the comments below, and vote if they like this site.

Every review customer will also see a badge embed code below the review that (s)he can put on his reviewed site. It will look something like this:

Improvement updates: 
Once improvements have been made to the web site being reviewed, a customer who ordered its review can edit the review to add improvements updates, which will look like this. This is useful because the review examines the site only at a single point in time, but as the web site is being further developed, some of the criticisms that may be provided in the review may no longer apply. Ability to add improvement updates is therefore a way for a web publisher to make sure that readers of the review know what criticisms have been addressed and improvements made.
If an improvements are made again at another time, an improvement update can be posted yet again. So long as this feature is not abused, improvement updates can be added indefinitely.
