ContentAxis.net immediately impresses with a clean, sharp and overall attractive design. The main content column gives the impression of a somewhat typical sales page, but made to stand out with the use of spacing between elements, sharp graphics and attractive colored boxes.

There are only a few relatively minor improvements that could be made. The graphic with a number 5 has an iStockphoto watermark which, although it doesn't in any way ruin the clarity and context of the image, is a tiny bit of clutter and perhaps a little too clearly reveals the source of the image. An image beneath the "what to expect" title cuts of the shadow of the box which might look even more attractive if an image where the shadow is let to fully fade out is used instead making the page seem like the surface on which it's placed. Finally, the stars used for the bullet list below the box seem slightly less sharp than the rest of the graphics.

The sidebar is quite excellent. It almost looks like a stripe that is pulled from beneath the header thanks to the gentle gradient at it's top. The gradient could use a little bit more polish however as it seems that the color from which it starts is slightly different than the background color of the sidebar itself. Other than that it's pretty much as perfect. The order of content featured on it is logical from "who we are" and simple order form to testimonies and authors linking to sample content.

Regarding the footer and the header design there isn't really anything to complain about. They're clean and attractive. Navigation looks great and unmissable. In the footer, I really like the way cart graphic was integrated. The only suggestion I can think of is to perhaps somewhat reduce the height of the header since it might be a little too spacious considering the size of the actual logo and title.

Finally, a small suggestion for the contact page. A submit button could be pushed a little to the right to align with the width of the "requirement" text area box or alternatively it could be moved right next to the reset button.

Most suggestions or critiques here are quite minor and perfectionist, but they wont hurt and hopefully make the review more valuable. The truth is that overall design of ContentAxis.com is quite impressive and professional and that it still deserves a top rating. If I could I'd give it 9.5/10 just for the more important of the few minor issues (like the iStockphoto watermark and an unpolished gradient in the sidebar, but the first impression is too good and I should keep with the standard rating numbers. :)

Since the site is dedicated to the sale of one particular service that's clearly its unwavering focus. However to someone not fully into the marketing terminology it might not be entirely clear from the get go what "Article Marketing" means. The term could be interpreted as the promotion of already written articles rather than writing articles related to a site and then promoting those. Still, reading the text clarifies this, especially what to expect section. Other than that the name of the site is relevant and brandable.

The sole content that can be expected from a type of site like ContentAxis.net is information about the product and the sales copy. We are provided a sales page which covers the highlights of the article marketing service, what is specifically provided by ContentAxis and what makes ContentAxis a better choice. Overall I think this should be quite effective at attracting prospects. There are some small issues in the opening paragraph however.

The first sentence might flow better if the word "as" was added before "One of most effective and cost-efficient..." to read like this: "As one of the most effective and cost-efficient online marketing strategies, unique article marketing is....". Also, "handsof" in the second sentence should probably be "hands of".

Finally, we get testimonials and links to sample content by ContentAxis authors provides additional content that should help the prospect make the decision to buy and there are also prominently available terms of service and a contact form for more info.
