MatchMade4Uonline.com is a fancy looking flash site greeting the user with a quick flashy jingle along with a some cool beats. The overall design is characterized by a black theme, a model in the background and sparkling disco-lights style letters. Until hovered over, these letters are almost completely dark and barely visible if your monitor is under daylight. However, hovering makes them light up with sparks!

Visitor can choose either the spanish or english version of the site and once doing so choose from a menu including "home", "about", "models", "conditions" and "contacts". Choosing either brings up the main layout of the site from which the actual content can be viewed. This layout includes all main menu items in two rows with the one corresponding with the current page being viewed remaining lit up so the visitor knows where (s)he is. It might be better if the menu items were somewhat smaller and displayed only on a single row.

A nice touch is that all the while, a language button is peering at the top left edge allowing instant change of language.

The width and height of the design is rather limited, and after the logo and big lettered menu items there isn't much space left for actual content yet not more seems to be needed. The "about" and "conditions" pages display the text fitting right between the cropped photo of a model and the gray scale colored model in the background. The conditions page can be scrolled by hovering the mouse over up and down arrows.

The models page contains a number of thumbnails linking to specific model's photo gallery. Clicking on a thumbnail brings up a display that allows browsing through the available photos and shows information about the model it is displaying. However the info is incomplete in most of the galleries. It might also be good if photos could be larger, which could be accomplished by moving this screen closer to the edge and allowing more space for the photo. Alternatively the size of the overall flash design could be larger, but that would come with a trade off of not supporting smaller screen resolutions.

Design of Match Made 4 U web site is appropriate, stylish, attractive and overall fairly functional, but space management might still use some improvement.

Site's name reminds of match making sites, and the slogan "We got it, you flaunt it" doesn't quite disprove that impression. The about page is unfortunately missing in the english version and since I don't read spanish I couldn't comment on it. Fortunately though, the "conditions" page makes it clear, "finding personnel to perform services for modeling placing them in different media publicity nationally and internationally". As such it basically acts as a brochure site that aspiring models can use to get in touch with someone who can help them sell their modeling talents.

Content:

Site is available in two languages, spanish and english, but the english version seems incomplete. The about page is missing so the only remaining content that may be useful are the "conditions" page and the galleries. The conditions page unsurprisingly reads like a legal speak. It may be useful to have some additional information such as, perhaps, more information about the company in question, past successes and appearances, any special requirements expected to be met by models before they make contact and so on. This could inspire more confidence and increase site's value as a recruiting tool.
