The look of organic-composter.com matches it's purpose and content with a color scheme that combines green and brown. Even the shape of the header and logo seem to convey an image of growing plants, not to mention the picture of satisfied looking gardeners. This is a good practice as even before one looks at the content, the design speaks for itself. That said, it also appears fairly attractive. The main menu is made to appear shiny and features a nice green overlay with rounded corners when menu items are hovered over.
The bottom of the header appears to have a shadow though, but the top of the sidebar on the left is placed over it. It might be a good idea to lower the sidebar by a few pixels, perhaps to match the position of the title bar on the right (where it says "Urban Compost Tumbler"). Another minor issue that can be noticed is that the "contact us" menu item partly crosses over the image of the gardeners. This might be fixed by making it say "contact" only instead of "contact us" and if that doesn't save enough space on the right side of the menu bar then perhaps reduce the padding of all menu items by one pixel. At the very least it will reduce the cross over.
It appears that while some of the menu items in the footer match the menu items in the main menu, "how to compost" and "compost benefits" link to different URL's, albeit both of the URL's lead to the same one. There seems to be a redirection. Unless there is a specific purpose of that it may be best to make both links point to the same URL.
The sub pages present the content decently, however titles within the articles could use a bit more spacing at their top. And I would also suggest putting the google ads centered in their own container so as to make them more distinct or just display them either below or above the content rather than in the middle of it. On the other hand, I'm aware that the idea is to garner as much clicks as possible, but if there's a way to do that without being intrusive, it's probably worth taking. It might not hurt trying multiple ways of positioning them.

Focus:
As previously mentioned, design itself already speaks of the theme of the site, which is always commendable. In addition the homepage is dedicated to briefly explaining what is being offered, a product called the "Urban Compost Tumbler", highlighting it's ability to reduce composting effort by 75% and composting time by 90%. The rest of the site expands on this by also offering helpful resources and additional composting related items for sale such as the compost bin and compost tea maker.

Judging from its position on the homepage the primary product being offered is the Urban Compost Tumbler, whose purpose and benefits are briefly described on the homepage and expanded on at its own page (Urban Compost Tumbler). Organic-composter.com also sells the compost bin and a compost tea maker, describing their characteristics and benefits on their corresponding pages, mixing them with helpful advice with regards to their use.
In addition to these there is a how to compost page which explains what exactly composting is, why do it, what makes a quality compost, what to compost and what are the compost materials and finally, how to do it. This makes the site into more than just a sales site for these products, but also a helpful resource for everyone who wants to know a bit about composting.
The only bit of complaint that could be said is that it also effectively promises gardening news, but only shows an empty box.

A simple, but pretty good web site promoting a few composting products and offering additional helpful information with regards to the practice of composting, why is it beneficial, how to do it and so on. There are a few minor issues, but given that the site just launched, they're likely to be fixed soon.
