Consistent outline

Every review follows the same outline so you know in advance what to expect. The review contains four sections; design, focus, content and overall. Each of these come with a rating. The overall rating is largely derived from the previous three ratings. You can take a look at an example review with further elaborations of each section.

• Design section is usually the longest and examines the web site's look, feel and functionality. Improvement suggestions are provided, sometimes even including an image illustrating the modified look.
• Focus section tests how clearly does the site make its purpose and focus, also making certain suggestions if necessary.
• Content section examines the quantity, usefulness and quality of content available on the site as well as its consistency with site's purpose.
• Overall section is a summary of the review and a final word on the site being reviewed.

Progress updates

As a customer of the review you gain access to a page (My Applications) on which you can track progress of your review application, it's approval, receipt of payment, within how much time is it to be completed and finally its completion. Upon completion you are given a link to the review.

Edit your review to make improvement updates

You can actually edit your review any time after its publishing to add an improvement update when you have made certain improvements to your site, describing which improvements you have made. This way when someone reads your review they can see when certain issues mentioned in the review have been fixed or suggestions applied.

Get a permanent backlink to your site with an anchor text of your choosing

Of course, a review links to the site being reviewed, but on Site2Review you choose the anchor text of your link. What's more, you can edit this anchor text any time even after the review has been published! The link is also placed at the top of the review in a special colored box so it's impossible to miss.

Choose keywords as tags under which your review will be published

Each review is published under certain tags which then display in our tag cloud (and in the tag cloud box on the right) and can be used to browse reviews published under that tag. You can choose which tags you wish your review to be published with and just like with the anchor text above, edit it any time after publishing.

Additional exposure in Site2Review's charts and sidebar

Every review contains an button so people can vote for your site if they like it. This influences your site's position in Site2Review's "Top Sites" chart, displayed sitewide in the sidebar. Additionally, there is a "Popular Links" chart displaying reviews with links most clicked and a "Random site" section randomly displaying reviewed sites.

Also, whenever you make improvement updates to your review, it is displayed in the "Recently improved" section of the sidebar across the site.

Get a badge to show off your site's rating to your visitors

You are given a badge code beneath your review which you can use to display a Site2Review rating badge on your site. When visitors click on it they are led to your review and can vote if they like it, boosting your ranks.
